The IPD Handgun Course, developed by Paul Castle of Sabre TTRR, is based on the principles of the Center Axis Relock (CAR) System and on his Active-Defense concepts previously taught only to Law Enforcement and Military personnel. The IPD Handgun Course was designed to produce quick and extremely relevant results. The Students ability to shoot and defend themselves through multiple scenarios is greatly increased.
IPD systems works in harmony with the body when under stress and is particularly reliable in close quarters situations. The system was designed to improve marksmanship by focusing on natural visual focal points and gross motor movements. The stability of the firing grip offers a very noticeable improvement in recoil control, which translates into the ability to dump rounds into a target at a blistering rate. The course consists of two parts: on-line self study and the live fire portion (taught by Weaponcraft)
Two of our instructors have been trained by Paul Castle, who developed the C.A.R. System. To take in the course, go to http://www.ipdsystems.com/ and sign up for the on-line course. Once you have completed the on-line course, sign up with Weaponcraft to complete the live fire training.
Taking the On-line Course will allow the Student to develop a thorough understanding of the Principles of the IPD Handgun System. This can be accomplished at the Students own pace and from anywhere. The Course can be completed in as little as a few hours. Becoming proficient in the IPD Handgun System will take serious practice. You will have access to the Course for 7 days. NO live firing is required during the On-line Training. The use of a non-firing training gun and/or dummy bullets is strongly encouraged. The IPD Handgun Course is an Advanced Firearms Course intended for self-defense only. Students are required to have Basic Firearms Safety and Handling Skills.
